High School History

Mr. Litz grew up in Wythe County, Virginia out in the middle of nowhere, on a farm near a small town called Speedwell, Va. He had a great childhood growing up in the mountains and he got to enjoy running through the hills and the mountains! Coming from a musical family, he was singing and playing music at a very early age. He also comes from a family tradition of hunting, fishing and loving the outdoors. Jason received a Criminal Justice degree with a certificate for working law enforcement personnel. He’s also gotten to travel the country playing his guitar and doing great things in the music business. 

Jason has a passion also for anything historical. He has spent lots of time over the years trying to expand his knowledge of History, especially, US History and Victorian Era European history. 

Mr. Litz has been married to Samantha for 15 years now, and they live in Roanoke. They have two boys and they attend KCA and Parkway Preschool on the Mountain!  He and his family are very excited and thankful for the opportunity to serve God this way at KCA and he looks forward to learning alongside of and enjoying the students! It’s hard for him to pick a favorite Bible verse but this is one of them, Psalm 7: 10 “My defense is of God, which saves the upright in heart”.
